Sessions

We run regular archery sessions every Thursday during term-time at Leith Academy sports hall - see dates and times below. All our coaches are volunteers and have an archery instructor qualification through Archery GB.

We are currently running only three sessions on Thursday nights.  Please go to Starting Archery for information on how to find us, and for a brief introduction on Archery at Leith Academy

  • Family Session - 6.45 to 7.25 (Under 16yrs with a Parent or Guardian)
  • Adult Session - 7.30 to 8.10pm
  • Adult Session - 8.15pm to 8.55pm

If you would like to try archery, record your interest by emailing us directly for a session inquiry.  Please get in touch at Email: leithcommunityarchers@gmail.com

Prices

We ask everyone who takes part in an archery session to make a donation to help us pay for our running costs (sports hall hire, equipment maintenance etc). It currently costs us £69 per week to pay for the sports hall hire.

Suggested donations:

  • Family sessions: child £1
  • Family sessions: adult £3
  • Adult sessions: £5

We understand that everyone's financial situation is different, so please pay what you can afford - we want to make archery accessible to all!

Membership

We ask everyone that comes along regularly to become a member of LCA. This ensures that you receive information and updates about LCA, and also helps us to be sustainable. Find out more about membership here.

Session rules

To ensure that our archery evenings are fun and safe for everyone to enjoy, we ask everyone to follow our session rules. Please follow instructions given by the coaches at the session - they are there to help you and ensure the safety of everyone taking part. Read the session rules.
