Restarting Archery Covid 19

Archery is back shooting again!

We are delighted to announce that we are back on our usual Thursday nights at Leith Academy Sports Hall.  Following current guidelines from the Scottish Government, we will be restarting our sessions in a limited capacity.  We are only open to members, initially, until restrictions are lifted further and we can increase the number of people in the Hall.  Please visit the Welcome back to Archery! page about the procedure and guidelines for a safe return to archery.

Leith Community Archers run regular archery sessions every Thursday during term-time at Leith Academy sports hall – see dates and times below. All our instructors are volunteers and are qualified through Archery GB.  NOTE  The session times have been changed during Covid Restrictions Book session.

Family session - 6.30 - 7.30pm

About Archery

Firing an arrow from a bow has a very, very long history. Archery has played a part in the development of cultures and societies since the Stone Age.  Today it is a hobby, a sport and an Olympic event.

At Leith Community Archers we practice Target Archery.  Information about this, the equipment, archery terminology and best practice can be found here.
