Leith Community Archers

Restarting Archery Covid 19

I'm running the London Marathon for a local charity I volunteer for called Leith Community Archers (LCA).  The club started in 2013, and I joined in 2019. I currently serve on the Board as the Club Secretary.
The Charity is an SCIO. The Archery Club in Leith provides the local community access to get involved in a unique sport, meet others and try Archery.  We are particularly keen to encourage people that may not normally try sports, as archery is very accessible.

I love helping out at LCA and seeing the difference it makes to those that attend.

There's also a blog for my journey so check it out www.chrisfoxrocks.wordpress.com

About Archery

Firing an arrow from a bow has a very, very long history. Archery has played a part in the development of cultures and societies since the Stone Age.  Today it is a hobby, a sport and an Olympic event.

At Leith Community Archers we practice Target Archery.  Information about this, the equipment, archery terminology and best practice can be found here.
