About Archery

Firing an arrow from a bow has a very, very long history. Archery has played a part in the development of cultures and societies since the Stone Age.  Today it is a hobby, a sport, and an Olympic event.  At Leith Community Archers we practice Target Archery and occasionally go to Beecraigs Country Park for outdoor target archery.  Information about this, the equipment, archery terminology, and best practice can be found here.
