Success

Leith Community Archers are keen to develop the club and introduce awards for our archer's success in competitions, or advancements in their skill.

In the future, we would like to have some members who would like to become official judges or assessors.  Scottish Archery has information on how to become a judge.  When we have our own judges we can set aside evenings for judging and assessing our member's development.  With that, you can watch your skills improve and feel the success of practice paying off.

Heather gained success in Pool 4 of her event at the National Scottish Disability Sports Indoor Archery Championships.  The Competition took place at Armadale Academy on 7th April 2019.
This was Heather's second experience at the competition.  Heather is an instructor with Leith Community Archers.  She has been an active member of the club for six years.
If you would like to join as a member visit our membership page.
The event consisted of an initial qualifying shoot in order to group archers according to their ability. Heather secured her place in Pool 4 and the competition was then run on a round-robin basis with every arrow scoring and the results dictated by the individual's cumulative score. Heather won gold!
