Leith Community Archers Amy Fyvie has been successfully appointed as part of a new group of inspirational young Archery GB Ambassadors for 2023
Archery GB Ambassadors are a team of inspirational volunteers who want to encourage more people to get into archery, feel welcomed at clubs and develop a love for the sport.
The role of an Archery GB Ambassador :
- Promote and develop archery in their local communities and help their club grow and develop
- Provide insight and feedback to Archery GB to influence the future direction of the sport
- Share their story and passion for archery to inspire others to participate and volunteer
- Be a positive role model, helping everyone to enjoy the sport
- Work together as a team of Ambassadors and Mentors
- Educate, innovate, challenge and inspire.
Amy has signed up to support the programme for a minimum of two years and will be provided with kit, training opportunities, mentored support, resources, equipment, and opportunities to work together with other Junior ambassadors. While the Ambassadors promote Archery and represent Archery GB, processes are in place to keep them safe.
